Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) jumped the gun on the summer season by participating in the highly anticipated 2025 Overland Kings Camp Out, one of the Philippines’ premier gatherings for outdoor and off-road enthusiasts.
Held from February 7-9, 2025, at the scenic Crystal Beach in Zambales, the event drew over 140 rugged overlanding vehicles, each equipped with state-of-the-art accessories, setting the stage for three days filled with exhilarating activities, camaraderie, and a shared passion for the great outdoors.
The 2025 Overland Kings Camp Out, led by Joel Pedro, has become a cornerstone event for the Philippine overlanding community. Each year, it unites hundreds of outdoor adventurers who gather to celebrate their love for off-roading, camping, and exploration. The event offered a range of engaging activities, including expert-led talks on off-roading techniques, rig setup tips for first-timers, and practical camping advice. Whether seasoned overlanders or newcomers, participants left inspired and equipped for their next adventure.
“We’re truly honored to once again be part of this incredible event,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita. “It’s a great opportunity to engage with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and share in our mutual love for nature and adventure. Naturally, the Isuzu D-MAX and Isuzu mu-X are front and center, as they are the ideal vehicles for such outdoor experiences.”
The Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X have garnered a stellar reputation within the overlanding community, renowned for their powerful engine performance and outstanding off-road capabilities. Features like Differential Lock and Rough Terrain Mode make these vehicles more than capable of conquering the toughest terrains. Additionally, their adaptable designs allow for seamless integration with overlanding accessories such as awnings, sleeping pods, and other outdoor gear, ensuring every adventure is both comfortable and convenient.
“We’ll definitely be back next year,” Fujita added. “It’s inspiring to see the overlanding community continue to grow, especially as people are eager to reconnect with nature after the pandemic. The energy here is truly exciting, and we can’t wait to be part of it again.”
