Mitsubishi Motors Honored by Philippine Red Cross for Lifesaving Blood Donation Milestone

In a powerful testament to corporate compassion and community impact, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) was awarded the prestigious Blood Services Platinum Award by the Philippine Red Cross, recognizing its unwavering dedication to voluntary blood donation efforts.

Over the past five years, MMPC has organized numerous mobile blood drives, collecting an impressive 896 units of blood—a lifeline for countless patients across the country. In 2024 alone, the company contributed 207 bags, amounting to 93,150cc of blood, earning additional platinum honors from the Laguna Chapter of the Red Cross.

The award was presented during the Philippine Red Cross Blood Donation Recognition and Awarding Ceremony, held at the Santa Rosa City Auditorium, under the inspiring theme: “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives.”

MMPC’s contributions ranked among the highest in its category, underscoring the company’s deep-rooted commitment to health, safety, and social responsibility. But beyond the numbers, the recognition also celebrated the spirit of volunteerism within MMPC’s workforce.

Four individuals—Kevin Reglos, Joselle Memije, Gerardo Yamsuan, and former employee Dominador Advincula Jr.—were personally honored for donating more than a gallon of blood each, embodying the values of solidarity, care, and selflessness that MMPC proudly upholds.

As the Philippine Red Cross continues to champion voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation nationwide, MMPC stands as a shining example of how corporate partnerships can make a profound and lasting difference in the lives of others.
