Motul Revo Racing Project’s Marvin Mangulabnan Battles from the Back to P2 in PSBK 2025 Season Finale at CIFOS

The Clark International Festival of Speed (CIFOS) provided the perfect stage for the dramatic conclusion of the 2025 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK). Under the scorching and humid sun, Marvin Mangulabnan delivered one of the most inspiring performances of the season. Despite a disqualification during Pre-Final that forced him to start at the back of the grid, Mangulabnan fought his way through the field to secure a remarkable P2 finish in the MORac GP PSBK Final Race, the highest form of motorcycle racing in the Philippines.

The 10-lap showdown tested riders to their limits, but Mangulabnan proved his resilience and skill aboard the Aprilia. He not only climbed from last to second place but also set the Best Lap Time of the race at 1:49.398, eclipsing the championship leader TJ Alberto’s fastest lap of 1:49.532. With this result, Marvin Mangulabnan now sits in P3 in the Overall Riders’ Standings, closing the season on a high note.

Marvin Mangulabnan stood proudly on the podium at the Clark International Festival of Speed (CIFOS) after a hard‑fought P2 finish in the PSBK 2025 season finale. Joining him was Champion TJ Alberto, who secured the top step, and Troy Alberto of Ducati Access Plus Racing, who claimed third. The trio celebrated under the Clark sunset, a fitting finale that showcased the grit, speed, and spirit of Philippine superbike racing.

After the final race, Mangulabnan celebrated with his fans at the Motul Paddock, personally thanking them through autograph signing sessions of poster stickers and button pins—an intimate gesture that capped off his season with gratitude and connection to the community.

“This final race was one of the hardest and most challenging of the season. Starting from the back after the disqualification meant I had to give everything I had, lap after lap, under the scorching heat. I wanted to prove to my sponsors and partners that with the Aprilia, we can achieve amazing things. Crossing the line in P2, setting the fastest lap, and finishing the season in P3 overall was my way of showing gratitude to everyone who believed in me. Thank you to the Motul Revo Racing Team and all our partners for standing by me this season.”Marvin Mangulabnan

“Finishing the season was a challenge for everyone, but Marvin’s performance today showed the heart of this team. From setbacks to podiums, we kept pushing together. We are proud to close the season with strength and determination, and we thank all our sponsors and partners who made this journey possible.”Peter Yung, Team Manager, Motul Revo Racing Team
