A bold new chapter begins for Maserati Philippines. Under the stewardship of Modena Motorsports Inc.—the official importer and dealer of Maserati in the country—the brand has made history with the national debut of its first-ever fully electric models: the GranCabrio Folgore and the Grecale Folgore.
Unveiled at an exclusive media event held inside the Maserati Manila showroom, the launch signaled more than just new vehicles. It marked the brand’s powerful pivot toward an electrified future—one driven by innovation, luxury, and unmistakable Italian flair.
“This isn’t just about introducing new cars,” said Sam Verzosa, President of Modena Motorsports Inc. 
“This is about igniting a new era—where electric mobility isn’t a trend, but a vision fulfilled. And Maserati is leading that charge with performance, sustainability, and Italian soul.”
Folgore: Lightning Strikes with Purpose
“Folgore,” the Italian word for lightning, defines Maserati’s high-voltage leap into electric performance—and it’s electrifying the Philippine market with two groundbreaking models:
GranCabrio Folgore
The world’s first all-electric luxury convertible is as thrilling as it is elegant. Powered by a cutting-edge 800V architecture and three electric motors, the GranCabrio Folgore delivers an astonishing 761 horsepower and 1,350 Nm of torque.
It rockets from 0–100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 290 km/h—all in near silence. Add in its four-seat capacity and a fully retractable soft-top that opens in 14 seconds (even while driving), and you have a convertible that’s rewriting the rulebook.
Grecale Folgore
Maserati’s first all-electric SUV brings daily practicality into the fast lane. With 410 kW of power, 820 Nm of torque, and a robust 105 kWh battery, the Grecale Folgore blends performance and utility with sustainable luxury.
Inside, you’ll find forward-thinking materials like ECONYL® (recycled nylon), and an advanced digital cockpit—making every drive both connected and conscious.
Both models are finished in the stunning Rame Folgore copper hue and sport aerodynamic details that elevate style and performance alike.
Electrifying the Philippines—One City at a Time
But this is only the beginning.
With the Folgore line now launched, Modena Motorsports is charging ahead with an ambitious expansion plan. That includes bringing in the ultra-exclusive GranTurismo Folgore 110° Anniversario Limited Edition, and launching nationwide roadshows and bespoke test-drive experiences across major Philippine cities.
