This weekend at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, Scuderia Ferrari HP will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Niki Lauda’s first Formula 1 World Championship, a defining moment in Ferrari’s storied history. In 1975, Lauda’s third-place finish—alongside Clay Regazzoni’s victory—clinched both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ titles, ending an 11-year drought and igniting a golden era for the Prancing Horse.
To honor Lauda’s legendary Ferrari 312 T, the SF-25s of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will sport a retro-inspired livery using cutting-edge recyclable wrap technology developed with title partner HP. Expect deep 1975 red, white stripes, cursive driver names, and silver rear wings that echo th e aluminum of the era. Even the wheels pay homage to the original rim design.
In collaboration with Puma, the team will wear 1975-style kits featuring the classic rectangular Ferrari logo. Leclerc and Hamilton will don era-inspired suits, shoes, and helmets—bridging past and present in striking fashion. A replica collection will be available for fans.
Ferrari’s passionate fanbase will be at the heart of the celebration. From Wednesday, fans can meet drivers at the Milan Flagship Store, explore exclusive merchandise at the “Replica pop-in,” and join the Drive to Monza by Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%” event at Palazzo Reale.
At Monza, expect a sea of red and the iconic track invasion that has defined the Grand Prix’s electric atmosphere. Leclerc, already a two-time Monza winner, returns as a fan favorite. Hamilton, with five Monza wins, will make his debut in Ferrari red—a moment made even more poignant by his connection to Lauda.
Adding to the nostalgia, Jean Alesi will drive the 1995 Ferrari 412 T2, the last V12-powered Ferrari F1 car, maintained by Ferrari F1 Clienti. Alesi’s return is a nod to the enduring love between Ferrari and its fans.
At the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, fans can view Lauda’s original 312 T alongside the Monza tribute car. With a refreshed layout and live race broadcasts, the museum offers a full sensory experience of Ferrari’s past and present.
This isn’t just a tribute—it’s a celebration of legacy, passion, and the timeless bond between Ferrari and its fans. Monza 2025 promises to be unforgettable.
