Philippine Motorsports Enters a New Era: RFS, NAMSSA, and Ayala Vermosa Launch Off-Road Riding Center

A new chapter in Philippine motorsports begins as Ride for Solidarity (RFS), the National Motorcycle Sports & Safety Association (NAMSSA), and Ayala Vermosa join forces to establish the Philippine Off-Road Riding Center. This landmark partnership formalizes a multi-discipline national structure for motocross, enduro, rally raid, and flat track competitions, ensuring standardized rules, officiating, and rankings for the 2026 season and beyond.

NAMSSA, recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission, the Philippine Olympic Committee, and affiliated with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), will oversee sanctioning, licensing, and safety compliance. NAMSSA President Stephan “Macky” Carapiet emphasized the importance of aligning local racing with international standards:

“World-level athletes require world-class environments. What we are building here are not simply races, but structured training grounds where talent can be measured, ranked, and developed. Skill exists everywhere; it is the system around the rider that turns potential into champions.

Today, Philippine motorsports move in step with the global stage.”

Representing Ayala Vermosa, Tin Ofilado highlighted how the project reflects the estate’s vision: “Our partnership with RFS and NAMSSA reflects how we build communities at Vermosa — by creating spaces where active lifestyles and enterprise grow together.

The Philippine Off-Road Riding Center adds a new dimension to the estate, hosting meaningful, year-round experiences for riders and spectators alike.”

The 2026 season opens with National MX Leg 1 in April at Vermosa, followed by the Philippine Enduro Championship Leg 1 and the 1st Philippine Rally Raid from May 1–3 at Alviera. The Hooligan Pilipinas flat track format will also debut this year.

Beyond race weekends, the Riding Center will house the Philippine Off-Road Academy, offering structured instruction from entry-level to advanced training under federation guidance. The RFS Adventure Hub will serve as a gathering space for manufacturers, service providers, and partners to engage riders and fans during official events.

RFS Operations and Social Innovation Chief Rupert Ambil II underscored the broader vision:

“These partnerships allow us to move from standalone events toward a structured national platform for athlete development. With recognized governance and a stable base, Filipino riders can train consistently, compete credibly, and prepare for higher levels of international racing.

By developing champions, we also promote the Philippines as a destination for world-class motorsport and adventure tourism. We are not just racing; we are helping in nation-building and shaping a national dream.”

The Philippine Off-Road Riding Center represents more than a venue; it is a movement to elevate Filipino motorsports. By combining federation governance, community development, and private sector support, this partnership ensures that riders have the environment, structure, and opportunities to grow into champions while inspiring the next generation.
