The 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) officially opened at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, drawing thousands of visitors on its first day. Organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), this milestone edition celebrates mobility, innovation, and automotive culture under the theme “Forward in Every Drive.”
A Milestone Gathering
The opening ceremony brought together automotive executives, government leaders, industry partners, media, and enthusiasts. Guest of Honor Director Patrick Aquino, CESO III of the Department of Energy’s Energy Utilization and Management Bureau, emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and industry:
“Over the past decade, the PIMS has served as an important platform for showcasing innovation, fostering industry engagement, and highlighting the continuing evolution of the Philippine automotive sector. This year’s theme, ‘Forward in Every Drive,’ appropriately captures the direction in which the mobility sector is moving: toward innovation, greater efficiency, and smarter approaches to meeting the country’s growing transportation needs.”
