Let’s talk about socks. That piece of everyday wear that we usually take for granted. To an end, socks have the role of keeping the soles of our feet dry and comfy. Our feet IS one of the heaviest producers of sweat and socks absord the sweat. The absorded sweat is drawn to areas where the sock that can let air evaporate the perspiration.
Now, that’s the serious role. Socks also play a lighthearted role for those who wear them. Enter Socks Talk.
Socks Talk is sock line that features 12 designs (at the moment) that are cute, witty, instructional or just plain whimsical. Intial designs are aimed at individuals who are into motorsports, triathlons, running and cycling. And Biblical quotes and one design on pet dogs round out the line-up.
Socks Talk is the creation of Kathy Villar, an experienced motorsport enthusiast having had competed in several competitions in local motorsport scene. She revealed that the idea of Socks Talk began during a time when she was still training for races. Having difficulty mastering the heel and toe technique, the technique wouldn’t come naturally to her. At one point, she thought of writing guide notes of her feet. Then she can review them before hopping onto the race car. A lightbulb moment came about of that idea which brought about the creation of Socks Talk.
Comfort is a big thing when it comes socks and materials play a huge factor. Socks Talk are made from high quality cotton (65%), nylon (32%) and spandex (3%) materials. Though they are free sized, individuals with feet sizes as much as 12 will fit comfortably.
