VinFast has announced its international business strategy for electric scooters, marking a major milestone in its global expansion and green mobility ecosystem. The company identified five key markets—the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Malaysia—as the first destinations for its e-scooter rollout.
Accelerating Global Growth
VinFast’s plan focuses on countries with strong urban mobility demand and growing interest in sustainable transport. By 2027, the company aims to establish hundreds of retail outlets across these markets, supported by dealer networks, service workshops, financial solutions, and energy infrastructure through its partnership with V-Green for charging and battery-swapping systems.
Product Portfolio
The expansion will introduce a lineup of battery-swapping e-scooters, including the VinFast Flazz, Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, with additional models tailored to local usage and consumer preferences. These products build on VinFast’s success in Vietnam, where the company delivered 406,453 e-scooters in 2025, securing market leadership.
Entering 2026, VinFast completed its master plan for three distinct e-scooter lines—mainstream, premium, and sport—and launched seven new models in the premium and sport categories, reinforcing its competitive edge in design, performance, and differentiation.
Philippines: First Strategic Market
The Philippines is VinFast’s first strategic market in this expansion. The company has partnered with five leading dealers—Maverick Racing Factory Inc., MotorCentral, New Nemar Development Corp., Supremebike Corporation, and ARC Trading—to build a nationwide retail and service network across Luzon and Mindanao.
