Honda Unveils World Premiere of Super-ONE Prototype Compact EV at Japan Mobility Show 2025

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today unveiled the Super-ONE Prototype, a bold new compact electric vehicle (EV), at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. Designed to transform daily mobility into a thrilling and emotionally engaging experience, the Super-ONE will be on display at the Honda booth throughout the show (Press Days: Oct. 29–30, 2025; Public Days: Oct. 31–Nov. 9, 2025).

Super-ONE: Compact, Electric, and Emotionally Charged

Developed under the concept “e: Dash BOOSTER,” the Super-ONE Prototype aims to redefine the compact EV experience by blending Honda’s signature driving fun with cutting-edge sensory stimulation. The name “Super-ONE” reflects Honda’s ambition to create a vehicle that is both extraordinary (“super”) and unmistakably Honda (“one and only”).

From its lightweight N Series platform to its Boost Mode that simulates the visceral thrill of a traditional multi-gear engine, the Super-ONE offers a dynamic driving experience that engages sight, sound, and touch — all while delivering excellent environmental performance and everyday usability.

Performance Meets Personality

  • Boost Mode unleashes enhanced power output, synchronizing a simulated 7-speed transmission with Honda’s Active Sound Control system to deliver a virtual engine roar and sharp gearshift feel.
  • Wide stance and blister fenders provide stability and a sporty aesthetic, while aerodynamic enhancements like front and rear air ducts ensure cooling and performance.
  • Extensive testing across Japan, the UK, and Asia has refined the Super-ONE’s handling across diverse road and climate conditions.

The Super-ONE’s predecessor, the Super EV Concept, made waves at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, showcasing Honda’s vision for electrified driving excitement on the iconic hill climb course.

Interior That Invites You to Drive

Inside, the Super-ONE features:

  • Sport seats designed for stability and immersion
  • Asymmetric blue accents for playful contrast
  • Horizontal instrument panel for reduced visual noise and enhanced focus

Global Rollout Begins in 2026

Honda plans to launch the production model in Japan starting 2026, followed by regions with strong demand for compact EVs, including the UK and various Asian countries. Depending on the market, the model will carry different names:

  • Super-ONE in Japan and Asia-Oceania
  • Honda Super-ONE in select Asian markets
  • Super-N in the UK

A Perfect Fit for the Philippines

Known for our deep affection for Japanese kei cars and compact vehicles, the Philippines is a natural fit for this stylish, nimble, and emotionally engaging EV. With its blend of practicality, performance, and personality, the Super-ONE could become a beloved choice for urban mobility across the country.
