Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is driving its commitment to education and skills development forward—this time, with engines running. In a significant move to support the next generation of automotive professionals, MMPC donated three vehicles to academic institutions across the country: one Mirage G4 GLX M/T and two L300 M/T units.
The recipients—Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) – Siniloan campus, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) – Balanga campus, and Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) – GMA campus—will use the vehicles as part of their hands-on automotive training programs.
The ceremonial turnover took place at MMPC’s Sta. Rosa Plant, led by Chairman Noriaki Hirakata and President & CEO Ritsu Imaeda. Also in attendance were university presidents Dr. Mario Briones (LSPU), Dr. Rowena Valerio (BPSU), and Dr. Rogelio Mamaradlo (EARIST), along with faculty, deans, and eager students from their respective automotive technology programs.
The donation aims to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application, enabling students to gain practical experience in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. It’s a tangible boost to their future careers—and a clear reflection of MMPC’s global philosophy, “Drive Your Ambition.”
“At Mitsubishi Motors, we believe in nurturing future automotive professionals by providing them with the tools they need to succeed. These vehicles will serve as an essential part of their learning journey,” said MMPC Chairman Noriaki Hirakata.
This initiative is part of MMPC’s broader mission to uplift education and empower local talent, fostering long-term partnerships with institutions that shape the country’s skilled workforce. Through these efforts, MMPC continues to fuel innovation, collaboration, and growth within the Philippine automotive industry.
