Triumph Motorcycles Philippines celebrates a remarkable inaugural year with the 1st Anniversary RIDE WITH TRIUMPH

Triumph Motorcycles Philippines officially marked its very first anniversary on Saturday, November 20, 2021 and organized a group ride and celebration for the following day. The 1st Anniversary RIDE WITH TRIUMPH was held on Sunday, November 21 with Triumph owners, media members, and friends of the brand partaking in the festivities.

The morning started off with two separate riding groups called “Battalions” leaving from Burgos Circle with a half-hour time difference, supported by the Philippine National Police’s Highway Patrol Group (HPG). Battalion 1, speared by Monzit Purugganan (Marketing Manager), left Bonifacio Global City (BGC) at 6:30 AM to run down the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and pay a goodwill visit to Triumph Wheeltek Calamba before turning back to BGC. Battalion 2, led by Josh Reyes (Marketing Assistant & Accessories Specialist), began an urban tour of Manila at 7:00 AM to Mall of Asia and Intramuros. Both of the Battalions were filmed by Motorcycle Cinema and finally converged for brunch at the Autohub Showroom in BGC.

The program included the handing out of certificates to notable customers, outstanding content creators, valuable collaborators, and industrious community builders. A brand new rider himself, Willy Tee Ten (WQT), President of the Autohub Group, gave a candid speech thanking HPG for supporting the morning’s Battalions and pledged more group rides for Triumph owners in the near future. He promoted responsible riding, humility, and kindness among Triumph owners as representatives of the brand.

Sammy Montecastro, General Manager of Triumph Motorcycles Philippines, then took center stage to expound on the company’s performance by revealing that more than 500 Triumph bikes were sold in the past year. Among all the Triumph dealers and distributors in the world, Triumph Motorcycles Philippines was ranked number one in terms of customer satisfaction, especially in terms of service. This was unprecedented according to Triumph headquarters. With that, Montecastro promised that Triumph Motorcycles Philippines would always provide the best customer service and experience in the country.

Montecastro also instilled pride in the local Triumph community by announcing that the Philippine market consistently receives brand new models, including special editions, in advance compared to other global markets. For example, the Trident 660 was launched in the Philippines ahead of its Southeast Asian counterparts and even the US market. It has been the same case for other models, including the freshly launched Gold Line Editions.

Participants of the 1st Anniversary RIDE WITH TRIUMPH were treated to the unveiling of numerous Gold Line Editions which just arrived in the country before all other markets aside from the UK. Showcasing the hand-painted gold lining skills of Triumph’s expert paint shop and reflecting customer demand for brighter and more custom-inspired schemes, the new Bonneville Gold Line Editions bring unique style and premium detail to eight motorcycles in Triumph’s renowned Modern Classic range. All available for one year only, the Gold Line Editions feature all of the recent updates of the new Bonneville generation, including enhanced capability and performance, and more beautiful style.

Triumph Motorcycles’ headquarters in the UK praised Triumph Motorcycles Philippines for its noteworthy success supporting Manila’s 2021 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. The UK also singled out Triumph Motorcycles Philippines’ digital marketing as being at the forefront in direction for all other Triumph social media pages around the globe, perfectly reflecting the #ForTheRide philosophy. The official international social media pages of Triumph Motorcycles regularly share photographs taken by local Philippine content creators for the enjoyment of global audiences. Currently, @officialtriumph’s first and second best-performing Instagram posts of all time were photographed by Filipinos.

The past year presented unique obstacles and opportunities in pandemic navigation, brand building, and awareness which Team Triumph confronted with high spirits and determination.  2021 was a hugely successful first year for the brand in terms of sales, marketing, and service in the Philippines. Next year will bring a new set of challenges along with numerous exciting things in store. 2022 will see the introduction of much-anticipated models, including the Tiger Sport 660, Tiger 1200, and the Speed Triple RR, as well as other limited editions.
