Pinnacle Motorsport aim to repeat strong performance as F3 Asia returns to Dubai

Despite four race wins and a 10 points lead in the driver’s championship, Pinnacle Motorsport isn’t resting on their laurels in the F3 Asian Championship Certified by FIA with two rounds still to go. Instead the Motorsport Ireland-licensed team  is aiming to fight for victories as the season returns to the Dubai Autodrome.

Pierre-Louis Chovet has been the team’s strongest suite in 2021. The Frenchman is the only driver so far this season to win four races and has been a consistent front-runner in all races. Chovet currently tops the driver’s standings with 156 points.

His teammate Alessio Deledda established that he’s a front-runner with a 6th place finish during the season-opener. Unfortunately luck wasn’t on his side during the double-header in Abu Dhabi and missed out on the points. The Italian hopes to bounce back and fight in front in Dubai.

This has been a learning year for Alexandre Bardinon. In only his third season racing single seaters, he has made substantial improvements at every event and is steadily working towards a point-scoring finish.

The penultimate round of the 2021 F3 Asian Championship Certified by FIA returns to the Dubai Autodrome this 12th to 14th of February. Qualifying and Race 1 is scheduled on Friday, with Race 2 on Saturday followed by Race 3 on Sunday.

John O’Hara, Team Director: “With four wins we’re in a good position to fight for the driver’s championship, but the season is far from over. Our main focus is to have a strong event here at the Dubai Autodrome and come out with as many points as possible. All drivers did well here during the season opener a few weeks ago so we’re positive we can continue our strong results this time.”

Accompanying Pinnacle Motorsport on their F3 Asian Championship campaign are partners Teng Tools and Motorsport Ireland.
