It was a weekend to remember for Isack Hadjar, who delivered a flawless drive at the Dutch Grand Prix to claim his first-ever Formula One podium, becoming the fifth youngest driver in F1 history to do so. The 20-year-old Visa Cash App Racing Bulls driver qualified P4 on Saturday and held his nerve throughout Sunday’s race, capitalizing on a late retirement from Lando Norris to secure third place at the iconic Circuit Zandvoort.
“That feels a bit unreal,” said Hadjar. “What surprised me most was holding onto fourth for so long. We took advantage of Norris’ misfortune, but we made no mistakes, and the car was unreal all weekend.

I’m proud of the result and grateful to my team—we maximized everything.”
Verstappen Shines at Home
Max Verstappen thrilled the Dutch crowd with a spirited drive to second place, battling early on with Norris and managing tyre wear in the latter stages.

Despite struggling with grip and low-speed balance, Verstappen’s aggressive strategy and race craft earned him a hard-fought podium behind race winner Oscar Piastri.
Max Verstappen: “The first half was the highlight—lots of overtaking and fighting for position. After Norris got back ahead, it was about tyre management and keeping the pack behind.

We didn’t have the pace to match McLaren today, but I’m happy with P2 and especially proud of Isack—he had a fantastic weekend.”
Tsunoda Back in the Points
Yuki Tsunoda delivered a gritty performance, climbing from P12 to P9 despite battling a power issue in the final stint and navigating poorly timed safety cars. His resilience paid off, marking a return to the points and a confidence boost for the Japanese driver.

Yuki Tsunoda: “It was a crazy race with a lot of challenges, especially the power loss late on. I had to adapt and stay focused, and I’m happy to bring home points.

Huge congrats to Isack and his team—this result means a lot to them.”
Mekies Reflects on a Strong Team Effort
Laurent Mekies, Team Principal & CEO, praised the team’s strategic execution and the drivers’ performances, highlighting Verstappen’s aggressive start and Hadjar’s historic podium.
Laurent Mekies: “Max extracted everything from the car today. Starting on softs was a bold move, but it gave us a fighting chance. Yuki continues to progress, and his points finish reflects that. As for Isack—what a moment. His podium is a testament to his talent and the hard work of everyone at Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. Sharing the podium with Max at Zandvoort made it even more special.”
With Hadjar’s breakthrough, Verstappen’s home podium, and Tsunoda’s return to form, it was a weekend of celebration and momentum for the Red Bull family. The energy at Zandvoort was electric—and the future looks even brighter.
