Simone Corsi returns to pole position in Valencia after 9 years

The Valencia circuit is definitely the favorite for the MV Agusta Forward Racing Team, one year after Stefano Manzi’s Pole, the MV Agusta F2 returns to the Parc Fermè. Finally, after a whole season of hard work, the results have arrived for the MV Agusta Forward Racing team.

Simone Corsi, disputed all the free practice sessions working hard, together with the team, to find the right setting in view of the qualifying. And it is in the afternoon that the Italian rider has made his best, finishing Q1 in first position and reconfirming in the subsequent Q2, sealing a historic Pole Position for the Team and for himself, placing his bike in front of everyone nine years after the last time, always in Spain at Aragon. His best time of 1’34.956 will see him start tomorrow ahead of everyone.

Lorenzo Baldassarri at his side is preparing for a comeback race. After finishing the morning session looking for the right feeling with his F2, he unfortunately missed out on access to Q2. The young Italian will start tomorrow’s race from the tenth row.

The appointment is set for tomorrow at 09.10am for the Warm Up, before the eagerly awaited last round of the season which will see the lights go out at 12.20pm.

Today was a special day, we are constantly working to bring the brand back to the top, where it deserves to be and tomorrow it will be incredible to start first with the MV.
