She Rides, She Leads: Harley-Davidson Manila Celebrates Women’s Month with Ladies of Harley

Harley-Davidson of Manila proudly announces the launch of Ladies of Harley, a landmark initiative celebrating Filipina riders and their growing role in the motorcycling community. Timed with Women’s Month, the program underscores Harley-Davidson’s commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and the enduring spirit of freedom on two wheels.

The inaugural event, themed “She’s Got a Ticket to Ride”, was held at the Harley-Davidson Greenhills Showroom and introduced a three-ticket journey designed to transition enthusiasts and back riders into confident Harley-Davidson riders. Each ticket represents a milestone in learning, experience, and empowerment:

  • Ticket 1: Jumpstart Party
  • Meet & greet, rider experience on the Harley-Davidson JumpStart™ simulator, ShopTalk on basic handling and T-CLOCS safety checks, motivational rider stories, plus exclusive 20% off on general merchandise until March 30.
  • Ticket 2: Basic Riding Course Training
  • Hands-on training at MMDA grounds (schedule to be announced), equipping women with foundational riding skills.
  • Ticket 3: All-Women Skilled Rider Training (SRT)
  • This March 7, 2026, women riders will undergo exclusive Harley-Davidson riding skills at Villar City. Training led by Motorclyde coaches certified by Harley-Davidson, in celebration of International Women’s Month.

This structured program not only builds technical skill but also fosters community, confidence, and tradition among Filipina riders. Rewards and prizes await participants who complete the journey, reinforcing Harley-Davidson’s belief that every woman deserves her own ticket to ride.

“The launch of Ladies of Harley in Manila is not just an event—it’s a powerful statement,” said Luiji Lardizabal of Harley-Davidson Manila. “We are honoring the strength, independence, and unity of Filipina riders by giving them a dedicated space to learn, ride, and grow together.

This is about building traditions that will endure, inspiring future generations of women to embrace the freedom of the open road and the spirit of Harley-Davidson.”

“As HOG Manila Chapter Director this 2026, I feel honored to witness how Harley-Davidson truly respects and supports women riders. What started with just two of us has now grown to eight, soon ten—and that growth speaks volumes about the passion of Filipina riders. Many of us began as passengers, but now we’re taking the handlebars ourselves, even inspiring our daughters to ride. My own daughter is learning on Mi Amore, and it humbles me to see her shaping her own identity as a rider. Riding is no longer just about being a pillion—it’s about finding confidence, building bonds, and sharing family traditions on the road.

If men can do it, why not women? This Women’s Month, especially with the All-Women Skilled Rider Training on March 7, we celebrate those who are starting from zero and proving that the Harley-Davidson spirit belongs to everyone.” Says Joana Gonzales-Choi, proud owner of Mi Amore (Street 500) and Sexy Beast (Sportster S 1250).

With Ladies of Harley, Harley-Davidson Manila joins a global movement that celebrates women riders, ensuring their journeys and achievements are recognized at the heart of the Harley-Davidson lifestyle. The initiative is more than training—it is about creating a sisterhood of riders who will carry forward the legacy of freedom, adventure, and Filipino pride.
