Two legendary Southeast Asian hotel bars are joining forces for a special two‑part bar takeover series, Philippines to Cambodia × Cambodia to Philippines. This July 18, 2026; Kristian Torres, head bartender of the iconic Long Bar at Raffles Makati, will take over the Elephant Bar at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor. Known for his technical precision and narrative‑driven style, Torres will reimagine classic cocktails with vibrant Filipino flavors and locally inspired ingredients.
The exchange continues on August 14, 2026 in Manila, where the Elephant Bar team will take over Long Bar at Raffles Makati. Leading the evening is Nisha, Raffles Gin Butler at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, celebrated for her expertise in gin and passion for Cambodian heritage. She will present a series of sophisticated gin‑based cocktails, including her acclaimed Berry Suspicious — a blend of Citadelle rouge gin, cremé de fraise, Kampot pepper syrup, strawberry and basil puree, and a dash of magic foam.
