MV Agusta Forward Racing Team begins testing for the 2022 season

Yesterday saw the conclusion of the first tests at the Circuit Angel Nieto in Jerez de la Frontera for the proven Simone Corsi and newcomer Marcos Ramirez.

The riders took advantage of the first track exit of the season to get back in touch with their MV Agusta F2 bikes, get to know the team and try out the new updates designed by the team’s technicians during the winter. The team took advantage of the two days to test the new technical components, which gave the first positive feedback.

Ramirez, despite the strong wind on the first day, lowered his time compared to last November’s test. A crash on the last lap of the second day demonstrated the Spaniard’s determination to find the limit immediately.

Alongside him Corsi saw significant ergonomic improvements to his top speed as a result of the work in the Wind Tunnel. Together with his teammate he tested the new features proposed by his technicians with a positive attitude. He finished fourth overall in the two days of testing.

The MV Agusta Forward Team will be back on track on the 17th of February, again at Jerez de la Frontera, for the second test session for the last checks before the official IRTA test that will take place in Portimao on the 19th, 20th and 21st of February.
