Access Plus Racing Targets Third Straight PSBK Win at Batangas Racing Circuit

Access Plus Racing is set to defend its flawless record as the team heads back to Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) for Round 3 of the 2025 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) this weekend. Leading the charge is Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto, who has dominated all four races this season, while younger brother Troy Alberto has consistently secured podium finishes to solidify the team’s grip on the championship standings.

TJ launched the season with pole position and back-to-back victories at Clark International Speedway (CIS), then replicated the feat at BRC in Round 2—extending both his points lead and the Ducati Panigale V4’s winning streak. Troy has also delivered an impressive performance, securing four consecutive podiums, including a 1-2 finish with TJ in the season opener.

Despite Access Plus Racing’s commanding start, the mid-season return to BRC presents new challenges. With the southwest monsoon underway, unpredictable weather conditions could shake up race strategies and demand real-time adaptability from the team.

Preparations have been thorough. Recent testing focused on refining Troy’s bike setup to narrow the gap to the front pack, giving the team confidence heading into qualifying and race day.

Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, with Race 1 and Race 2 taking place Sunday, July 6.

TJ Alberto, #77: “We’ve had a strong start to the year, and I’m looking forward to carrying that momentum into Round 3. Every point matters at this stage, so we’re keeping our focus sharp.”

Troy Alberto, #69: “Last round was tough, but we’ve made solid progress. Testing has gone well—I’ve been able to close in on TJ and Marvin, so I’m excited to see how the races unfold.”

Toti Alberto, Team Principal: “The entire team is energized going into Round 3. Troy’s setup is improving steadily, and TJ continues to deliver up front. Of course, weather could be a wildcard, so our priority is keeping both riders safe while aiming for top results.”
