Inchcape’s Changan and Mercedes-Benz Secure Strong Q1 Positions in EV and Hybrid Segments

Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Changan and Mercedes-Benz, is celebrating strong Q1 2026 sales in the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) categories, based on CAMPI data.

Changan: Affordable and Practical Electrified Options

  • Changan BEVs ranked 5th nationwide, with sales up 168% year-on-year. The Changan Lumin mini EV is the brand’s city-friendly hatchback, priced at ₱699,000–₱799,000.
  • Changan PHEVs also ranked 5th, with a huge 970% sales increase. The lineup includes:
    • Nevo Q05 SUV — up to 115 km pure EV range, priced from ₱1,259,000.
    • Nevo Hunter K50 pickup — the world’s first range-extended EV pickup, with up to 1,031 km total range, priced from ₱1,699,000.
    • Nevo A05 sedan — class-leading 130 km EV range, priced at ₱1,195,000.

These models highlight Changan’s focus on affordable electrified mobility for Filipino families and businesses.

  • Mercedes-Benz BEVs ranked 10th, led by the EQ lineup:
    • EQA compact SUV (₱3,990,000)
    • EQB family SUV (₱4,290,000)

    • EQS sedan & SUV (₱9,990,000)
  • Mercedes-Benz PHEVs ranked 7th, with 215% growth. Models include:

    • GLC 350 e SUV (₱4,890,000)
    • GLE 400 e SUV (₱5,790,000)
