Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has once again proven its dominance in the commercial vehicle sector, capturing a commanding 43% market share in the truck category from January to April 2025. This milestone, reported by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA), reflects IPC’s sustained leadership in the industry—a position it has held for an impressive 25 consecutive years.
With 1,592 truck units sold in just the first four months of the year, Isuzu continues to be the trusted choice for Filipino businesses seeking durable, cost-effective, and reliable transport solutions.
“Our continued leadership in the truck market reflects the brand’s unwavering commitment to delivering vehicles that truly work for our customers,” said Mikio Tsukui, IPC President. “Isuzu trucks are built to last, operate efficiently, and lower long-term costs—making them an ideal partner for businesses. Combined with our unmatched nationwide aftersales support, we help our customers reduce downtime and maximize profitability.”
Best-Selling Models Driving Growth
At the heart of Isuzu’s market performance is its versatile and customer-favorite N-Series, which sold 905 units—a 7.2% increase over the same period in 2024. The N-Series continues to lead in popularity among logistics and delivery operators, thanks to its adaptability and user-friendly features, including the increasingly in-demand Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT)—ideal for navigating the tight streets of urban centers.
Following the N-Series, Isuzu’s medium-duty trucks recorded 545 units sold, showing steady growth with a 2.4% year-on-year increase. These models are favored for long-haul and inter-provincial transport, offering customizable body configurations and enhanced safety features for drivers.
Isuzu’s heavy-duty lineup delivered an exceptional performance, posting a 59% increase over last year with 142 units sold, largely driven by strong demand for the new S&E Series. These trucks are in high demand from government and infrastructure projects and come equipped with advanced features such as Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and a high-tech driver coaching instrument cluster—setting a new benchmark for safety and efficiency in the category.
