Kia Philippines, under ACMobility, closed 2025 on a high note, posting 16.7% year-on-year growth and cementing its position as the fastest-growing mainstream automotive brand in the country. Retail sales climbed from 6,692 units in 2024 to 7,810 units in 2025, a clear reflection of growing demand, customer confidence, and the brand’s ability to deliver vehicles that resonate with Filipino lifestyles.
“This milestone reflects the strength of our product portfolio and our customer-first approach,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility. “2025 was a defining year for Kia Philippines, proving our commitment to mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of Filipino motorists.”
Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines, added: “The performance in 2025 shows how Filipino motorists responded not just to our cars, but to the service and people behind the brand. It’s the result of a year focused on delivering a better ownership experience every day.”
Carnival and Sonet Drive Segment Success
Two models stood out as growth engines. The Kia Carnival, with its premium comfort and family-first appeal, posted 30% growth and ranked second in the midsize MPV segment. Meanwhile, the Kia Sonet became a breakout star, surging 54% year-on-year to claim second place in the entry subcompact SUV category. The Sonet’s dynamic performance and youthful design, amplified by the K-Style Edition, captured the imagination of a new generation of drivers eager to “Love the Drive.”
Expanding Powertrain Options for Every Filipino Driver
2025 also marked the completion of Kia’s three-prong powertrain strategy—fuel-powered, fully electric, and turbo-hybrid. The introduction of hybrid options like the Sorento 7-seater SUV and Carnival Turbo Hybrid broadened Kia’s reach, appealing to motorists who want performance, efficiency, and sustainability in one package. This move reinforced Kia’s role in supporting the Philippines’ transition toward greener mobility.
Customer Satisfaction and Dealer Excellence
Beyond sales, Kia Philippines earned recognition for its commitment to customer experience. The brand received the 2025 Sales Customer Satisfaction Significant Improvement Award (KSCS) from Kia Asia Pacific, while Kia Pasig was named Global Best Dealer 2025, underscoring the strength of Kia’s nationwide dealer network and its ability to deliver world-class service aligned with global standards.
Momentum into 2026
With strong product competitiveness, rising customer satisfaction, and dealer excellence, Kia enters 2026 with confidence. “The momentum we’ve built gives us confidence in the road ahead,” Lopez said. “Our focus now is on expanding our lineup, elevating the customer experience, and making innovative, high-quality, and reliable vehicles more accessible to Filipino drivers.”
