The GOOD DESIGN® Award, founded in 1950 in Chicago by design legends such as Edgar Kaufmann Jr., Charles and Ray Eames, Russel Wright, George Nelson, and Eero Saarinen, is the oldest and most esteemed international design accolade in the world. It recognizes the finest achievements in industrial and graphic design each year, celebrating innovation and excellence across a variety of disciplines.
The 2024 edition of the award saw thousands of submissions from over 56 countries, with winners selected by a distinguished panel of experts. Criteria included innovation, functionality, ergonomics, sustainability, and emotional impact. Among the automotive and transportation sector winners were some of the world’s most renowned names, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pininfarina.
