New inDrive–PITX Alliance Enhances Safety and Access for Filipino Commuters

Global ride-hailing platform inDrive has officially partnered with the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) to revolutionize the way Filipinos move across Metro Manila and nearby provinces. The collaboration aims to provide safer, more convenient, and commuter-friendly last-mile transport solutions, while also empowering partner drivers with better earning opportunities.

The milestone partnership was sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement signed by inDrive APAC Director Mark Tolley, Philippines Business Development Head Sofia Guinto, PITX Chief Operating Officer Mohit Malhi, and Terminal Operations Manager Arnold Yuson. The agreement cements both organizations’ shared vision of accessible, inclusive, and equitable transport services.

“At inDrive, we’ve always believed that mobility is a right—not a privilege,” said Sofia Guinto. “This partnership with PITX is more than just launching a booth. It’s about creating a movement—a movement toward transport that listens, adapts, and puts people first. A service Filipinos truly deserve.”

PITX—recognized as the Philippines’ premier landport and serving over 50 million passengers in 2024—remains a critical hub connecting Metro Manila to Cavite, Laguna, and other key provinces. With this partnership, commuters now have greater access to flexible ride options to and from PITX, made even more seamless through inDrive’s dedicated pickup area and standby driver dispatch—dramatically reducing wait times during peak hours.

More Than a Booth: Building a Safer Transport Ecosystem

This collaboration marks a key milestone in inDrive’s “Ligtas Biyahe” campaign, an ongoing initiative focused on transport safety, fairness, and community empowerment. The newly launched inDrive booth at PITX goes beyond basic booking services. It will:

  • Provide on-site assistance for passengers and drivers

  • Distribute safety materials and information

  • Host driver onboarding and orientation sessions

  • Facilitate community engagement activities

All efforts are aligned with inDrive’s broader mission to promote responsible and equitable urban mobility—built by and for the community it serves.

“We’re proud to collaborate with inDrive in rethinking how transport technology can meet real-world needs,” said PITX COO Mohit Malhi.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to modernizing public transport while ensuring the safety and welfare of our passengers remain a top priority.”

A Model for Public-Private Collaboration

This initiative also highlights the power of public-private partnerships in addressing some of the most pressing challenges in urban transportation—from safety and accessibility to fairness and sustainability. By combining inDrive’s tech-driven platform with PITX’s large-scale commuter infrastructure, the partnership offers a scalable model for inclusive and people-centered mobility.

The inDrive booth is located at the Podium Building Taxi Bay Area at PITX and officially opened to the public on June 26, 2025.
