Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) proudly introduces the all-new GR Yaris, now available in both manual and the newly offered automatic transmission variants. Retail sales begin today, March 6, 2025.
Born from Toyota’s heritage in the World Rally Championship (WRC), the GR Yaris is a true embodiment of Chairman Akio Toyoda’s philosophy that “roads build cars.” With this belief at its core, Toyota uses motorsports to push the limits of performance, ensuring every vehicle is tested in the toughest conditions to deliver an ever-better car for the road.
The new GR Yaris features a more aggressive and aerodynamic design, amplifying its rally-inspired DNA. It comes equipped with 18-inch 225/40 aluminum-forged wheels, LED headlights, daytime running lamps, rear combination lamps, and a sleek rear spoiler to further enhance its bold stance.
Under the hood, the GR Yaris is powered by the G16E-GTS: a 3-cylinder, in-line, DOHC 4-valve Roller-Rocker engine, now delivering a maximum output of 280 PS and 390 Nm of torque. To boost performance, Toyota has added an upgraded drive mode select, along with a new sub-radiator and intercooler spray system for optimal cooling, ensuring peak performance on every drive.
The New GR Yaris is available in two variants: the 1.6L Turbo A/T, featuring an 8-speed direct shift automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and the 1.6L Turbo M/T, offering a 6-speed intelligent manual transmission.
Inside, the GR Yaris boasts a driver-centric cockpit, with enhanced convenience features like a full 12.3-inch TFT meter display and a 7-inch display audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new model also integrates cutting-edge safety features, including a back monitor, intelligent clearance sonar, and Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) with Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). The A/T variant is equipped with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, while the M/T variant comes with Adaptive Cruise Control for added comfort and security.
The New GR Yaris is available at a starting price of PHP 3,391,000 for the 1.6L Turbo M/T and PHP 3,550,000 for the 1.6L Turbo A/T. Color options include Super White, Emotional Red, Precious Black, and a new Precious Metal, making its debut in this model.
