VinFast has awarded 303 prizes worth a total of ₱5.1 million to participants of its electric vehicle design voting contest, PiliPinas: Your Vote, Your Design for the Future Filipino Drive. With more than 20,000 Filipinos joining from across the country, the contest highlighted both the strong appeal of VinFast’s EV lineup and the growing embrace of sustainable mobility in the Philippines.
The live awards ceremony marked a milestone moment, with three grand winners each receiving ₱150,000 for correctly predicting the most favored design and total votes. Other participants were recognized for their closest predictions across the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models, while original design submissions and lucky draw entries also earned prizes. In total, 303 individuals were celebrated, reflecting the creativity, enthusiasm, and community spirit that powered the contest.
Running from October 24 to November 7, the PiliPinas contest showcased ten fresh interior and exterior concepts for each VinFast model line. These designs, developed by VinFast’s global creative team, offered Filipinos a wide range of styles to choose from. Voting was made accessible both online and through thirty ballot boxes nationwide, ensuring fairness and transparency. The strong turnout and close competition underscored VinFast’s ability to capture Filipino tastes while inviting the public to directly shape the future of electric mobility.
