Celebrate Women’s Month with F1 Academy on beIN Sports

As we celebrate International Women’s Month, beIN SPORTS will broadcast live the F1 ACADEMY, an all-female racing series designed to help develop young female drivers and give them the experience needed to progress through Formula 3, Formula 2, and even up to Formula 1. The highly-anticipated second season of F1 ACADEMY includes seven Grand Prix across three continents.

Fifteen inspiring young drivers are featured this season, including the Philippines’ rising motorsport star, Bianca Bustamante, the first female driver of the McLaren Driver Development Program. Other racers to look out for are Guinness World Record holder for the fastest vehicle slalom, Chloe Chambers, and Emirati sisters Hamda and Amna Al Qubaisi.

“We are excited to give Filipinos closer access to Bianca Bustamante and her racing journey. Being an official broadcast partner of F1 ACADEMY is integral to our women’s sports portfolio and our beINSPIRED global initiative that aims to give a bigger platform to under-represented sports and talent,” said Magdalene Ng, Head, Marketing & Communications, beIN ASIA PACIFIC.

The season officially started at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia, with Bianca Bustamante taking P5 in the first qualifying round. Race 1 is scheduled at 8:05pm tonight and Race 2 on Saturday at 8:00pm.

Succeeding race schedules include Miami (3 to 5 May), Spain (21 to 23 June), the Netherlands (23 to 25 August), Singapore (20 to 22 September), Qatar (29 November and 1 December), and finally, Abu Dhabi (6 to 8 December). All races will be broadcast on beIN’s live streaming, multi-screen app beIN SPORTS CONNECT.
