The battle for supremacy in the Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) 2025 heats up as Access Plus Racing returns to the Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) this weekend for Round 5. With only three rounds left in the season, the team is laser-focused on securing a dominant finish—and possibly locking in the championship early.
TJ Alberto: Eyes on the Crown
With seven wins out of eight races, TJ Alberto (#77) holds a commanding 43-point lead in the Pro Class standings. His only blemish came in Round 3 at BRC, where rival Marvin Mangulabnan snatched victory at the final corner of the final lap. Now, TJ returns to the same circuit with unfinished business and a clear mission: sweep both races and tighten his grip on the title.
“That last-lap loss was tough,” TJ admits. “But I’ve learned from it. We’ve made solid gains during the break, and I’m coming in with a clear plan. The goal is simple—double victory.”
Troy Alberto: Gunning for Second
Troy Alberto (#69), fresh off a strong 1-2 finish with his brother in Round 4, is currently third in the standings. Determined to climb higher, Troy has ramped up his training and testing, pushing himself harder than ever to chase down the runner-up spot.
“I’ve never trained this intensely,” Troy shares. “From riding drills to fitness routines, I’ve pushed every limit. Now it’s time to see that effort pay off.”
🔧 Mid-Season Upgrades and Ducati Precision
During the mid-season break, the team fine-tuned their Ducati Panigale V4 machines, optimizing performance for a circuit that has historically tested their outright pace. With improvements dialed in, Access Plus Racing is confident they can deliver a statement weekend.
“We’re entering the final stretch with TJ showing incredible consistency,” says Team Principal Toti Alberto. “Our goal is to help Troy climb the ranks and support both riders with everything we’ve got. The team has worked tirelessly, and we’re ready to convert that into results.”
