What began as a dream in a Makati motorcycle shop has now become a racing milestone. ARK Motors, known for its award-winning custom builds and deep roots in automotive craftsmanship, has officially made its mark on the racing scene. On October 11, 2025, rookie racer Arian Kazemi stunned the crowd by clinching victory in the Super Open category at the Vespa Pilipinas Cup held at the Carmona Racing Circuit in Laguna.

From Custom Kings to Track Contenders
ARK Motors has long been a standout in the Philippine custom bike community, earning accolades including Best of Show at KustoManila—one of the country’s premier bike exhibitions. But racing was a new frontier. With a Vespa build that combined style and performance—the team entered the Vespa Pilipinas Cup with high hopes and humble beginnings.
A Race Against Odds Qualifying day threw unexpected challenges due to a small mechanical glitch, which pushed Arian to start from P7 on the grid. Race day brought light rain, turning the track slick and unpredictable. Early in practice, Arian suffered a crash and minor injury, but his determination never wavered. Through sheer perseverance Arian clawed his way back: from P7 to P4 in the first few corners, then to P3 by lap two. With grit and grace, he surged ahead to take the win in one of the most competitive categories of the event.

A Win That Echoes Beyond the Track
This victory not only earned Arian a trip to Italy but also proved that ARK Motors’ builds aren’t just showpieces—they’re race-ready machines. “We had a little problem during qualifying,” Arian shared. “But with a bit of luck, great coaching, and complete trust in the bike and my team, I got the win. Racing with my family there made the pain of the crash worth it. I’ll be back.”
Team Effort, Trackside Triumph Head mechanic Jery Posadas, experiencing his first race as a track technician, was overwhelmed by the intensity.
“I’m used to working on bikes in the shop, but the screaming, the excitement—it was unreal. What we did with the bike worked like magic on the track. I knew it would perform, but I was shocked we won!”
Family, Passion, and Purpose
Kim Kazemi, Arian’s wife, reflected on the emotional journey: “He wanted to race to prove his builds could perform. This was our first time on the golden ground of Philippine motorcycle racing—and it exceeded all expectations.
After the crash, I just told him to have fun. If he wants to race again, we’ll support him all the way.”
What’s Next for ARK Motors?
This win is more than a trophy—it’s a launchpad. ARK Motors is committed to pushing further and delivering even more performance-driven builds to their customers. As Kim puts it, “This victory will inspire us to build better, race harder, and show the world what ARK Motors is truly capable of.”
