Carmavens is at it again, organizing car shows that is. Carmavens has been steadily creating quality car shows in the south of Metro Manila through the years. With top notch vehicle entries each time, all the time; Carmavens has built their reputation on pooling together excellent vehicle entries thru the nine years of orgnizing their events.
This year’s show was no different from the past events. Several examples of what a show cars should look like. Their chosen venuefor all this? The Robinsons Place in Las Piñas City. They been organizing car shows there several times on an annual basis. It’s one of the events that the mall prepares for each year.
This year’s entries for the competition were from a few 5th generation Toyota Supra’s all the way to a barn find 2nd generation Toyota Corolla, and everything in between. Of course, the perenial favorite entries were also represented.
EMMA Philippines debuted their newest competition format, EMMA Lite, for those wanting to get their feet ‘wet’ in mobile audio competitions so to speak. Open primarily to mobile audio freshmen, it’s a way for them to gain experience in competing in the EMMA format.
At the end of the day, a painstakingly restored 1986 Mitsubishi Lancer worked on by Royal88 Auto Care Services located in Taguig City took home the honor of Best of Show. And a equally beautiful restored 1980 Toyota Landcruiser done by Shelby Auto Station located in Meycauayan, Bulacan took home the Best of Show-Reserve honor.

The event was made possible by the support of Lubrex Motor Oil, MCAB Online Enterprise, Imprint Customs and Nippon Paint. Carmaven9 was also supported by Eurovisions Car Accessories and Decals, Empire Athletics Co., Shoti Car Care, SamDom Transport Services and H2O Life Source Philippines. 2ner supported the event as media partner, along with Test Drive Philippines.
