What began as a small riding school with a simple mantra “Skills before Speed”, has grown into a lifestyle, a community, and a movement that has reshaped how Filipinos see motorcycle riding.
The Motorclyde 5th Anniversary Celebration in Sto. Tomas, Batangas was more than just a milestone. It was a gathering of stories, partnerships, and lives touched by the advocacy of safe riding. With over 150 attendees, the event was a living testament to how discipline, training, and camaraderie can transform a passion into a culture.
Beyond the speeches and recognitions, the Motorclyde 5th Anniversary Celebration also became a showcase of industry support. Hosted by King Sengco and Nica Dacanay, the program carried both energy and warmth, guiding the crowd through a day of milestones and camaraderie. 
Leading names like Würth Philippines, DJI, and MPTC set up booths at the venue, bringing their expertise and products directly to the riding community. From professional tools and automotive solutions to cutting‑edge drone technology and expressway safety initiatives, each booth added depth to the celebration, underscoring how Motorclyde’s advocacy has attracted partners across diverse sectors. 
Their presence turned the anniversary into more than a gathering of riders; it became a convergence of lifestyle, technology, and corporate commitment to safer roads.
Coach Clyde Solano says
“When Motorclyde was just an idea, I kept asking myself: What kind of riders do we want to see on our roads? Not just fast riders, not just skilled riders — but responsible riders. That was the seed. We wanted to build a place where discipline mattered more than horsepower, where every rider could walk away not only with techniques but with values.
Over these five years, I’ve seen riders transform. Some came in nervous, unsure if they could handle a motorcycle. They left with confidence, not because we taught them to go faster, but because we taught them to respect the road, respect themselves, and respect others. That’s the real victory.

Coach Erwin Carpena says

And now, five years later, I look at the hundreds of riders who’ve passed through Motorclyde and I see a family. The First Rider’s Assistance Center
Motorclyde’s five‑year anniversary was marked by more than celebration. At the heart of its journey lies a pioneering partnership with the city of Sto. Tomas, Batangas. That collaboration bore fruit in the form of the Philippines’ first Rider’s Assistance Center, a haven for travelers offering free coffee, water, and on‑the‑spot motorcycle aid.
During the program, the City Administrator represented Mayor Arth Jhun Aguilar Marasigan, delivering a speech that captured the spirit of the partnership between Motorclyde and Sto. Tomas.
“The Philippines’ first Rider’s Assistance Center is here in Sto. Tomas. Motorclyde has proven that riding is not just about the road — it’s about responsibility, community, and care. Every rider who stops here knows they are part of something bigger.”
This achievement stands as proof of how local governance and grassroots advocacy can unite to create lasting impact. More than a facility, the Rider’s Assistance Center is a living symbol of Motorclyde’s mission; safe riding as a lifestyle, a movement, and a legacy that continues to grow beyond its first five years.
The celebration was further honored by the visit of Vice Mayor Catherine Jaurigue‑Perez of Sto. Tomas, Batangas, whose presence underscored the city’s full support for Motorclyde’s advocacy. She took time to walk around the venue, personally engaging with sponsors and partners — from Würth Philippines and DJI to Spyder Helmets and Standard Insurance — acknowledging their role in strengthening the culture of safe riding.
“Motorclyde’s journey proves that safety thrives when community and industry come together. Seeing our partners here, committed to the same vision, reminds us that Sto. Tomas is not just the home of the Rider’s Assistance Center — it is the home of responsible riding.”
Her visit added warmth and gravitas to the occasion, bridging local governance with the riding community and reinforcing the message that safe riding is a shared responsibility.

The anniversary was rich with reflections from those who have stood alongside Motorclyde since its inception. Each voice carried not just memory, but conviction; proof that the movement has grown from lessons into legacy.
Doc, one of the awardees, reminded the crowd that safety is not a one‑time lesson but a lifelong discipline. His words carried the weight of experience:
“Motorclyde taught us that riding is a skill you sharpen every day. It is not about how fast you go, but how prepared you are to face the road. Every ride is a test of discipline, and discipline is what keeps us alive. Speed fades, but skill endures, and Motorclyde has given us the tools to endure.”
Director Yen, a pioneer from HOG July 2021, recalled the early days with emotion:
“Being one of the firsts, I have seen Motorclyde grow from a small circle into a nationwide movement. What began as a handful of riders has become a culture. Passion and discipline can change lives, and I have witnessed it. Riders today are safer, more confident, and more respected because of this training. That is the kind of legacy that reaches beyond the road and into our communities.”
Karen Kay Del Mundo of Standard Insurance Batangas reflected on their five‑year partnership:
“Insurance is about trust, and riders trust Motorclyde because they walk the talk. For us, this partnership is not just about coverage, it is about protecting lives and promoting responsibility. Every seminar, every training, every rider who chooses safety first is proof that this advocacy works. We are proud to stand beside Motorclyde in this mission.”
HOG Manila, celebrating 13 years of riding together with zero accidents, credited Motorclyde for their discipline:

Dave Bautista, Head of Road Traffic at NLEX MPTC, highlighted the corporate embrace of Motorclyde’s advocacy:

For an expressway company, this partnership is not optional, it is essential. Every rider who passes through our roads deserves to be safe, and Motorclyde has helped us make that possible.”
Cesar Villanueva of TPB Motorcycle Tourism emphasized the broader impact:
“With Motorclyde, riders can confidently travel anywhere in the Philippines. They have become ambassadors of safe tourism, showing that riding can be both adventurous and responsible. Tourism thrives when safety thrives, and Motorclyde has proven that the two can go hand in hand.”
Konsehal Allan Maligaya of Barangay San Francisco, Sto. Tomas spoke from the community’s perspective:
“Motorclyde has given our riders confidence, safety, and style. It is not just training, it is transformation. Our barangay is proud to be part of this legacy. Every rider who trains here becomes an example for others, and that ripple effect is what strengthens our community. Motorclyde has shown us that safe riding is not just personal, it is social.”
