Now on its 4th year, King of RIOT is the Philippine’s premier extreme 4×4 competition with hundreds of rigs ready to compete. This year’s King of Riot orgranizers added the Sarap Buhay Camping Expo, this part of the event promises to be the biggest off-road camper gathering yet. Organized by the Rizal International Off-road Track (RIOT), KOR is the biggest international extreme 4×4 competition in the Philippines, bringing together local and international champions in a test of endurance, skill, and survival.
With the backing of Motul as its title sponsor, this year’s edition is expected to be the biggest and most competitive. Bringing new rules, innovative stages, and an expanded international competitor pool. KOR 2024 Highlights:
- Expanded Competitor Categories: This year’s competition will include international competitors, including top racers from the Borneo Safari 2024, as well as local talents competing across categories like Prototype, Modified, Buggy, UTV and Production Class.
- New Stage: The Bivouac: an all-night grueling endurance stage designed to challenge competitors’ survival skills, mechanical expertise, and driving prowess. Competitors without crew support will need to rely on their wits to get through extreme conditions.
- Innovative Rules and Advanced Scoring: KOR 2024 introduces a new scoring system that will capture every second of competition, ensuring a more exciting and transparent race.
In addition to the off-road competition, attendees will experience the Sarap Buhay Camping Expo which celebrates the adventure lifestyle and off-road culture. The expo will feature displays of the latest 4×4 vehicles, accessories, and gear from top brands, along with engaging workshops, thrilling competitions, and family-friendly activities.
