News Moto is an independent creator of motorcycle content that started back in 2011, focusing on racing and motorcycle stories. Whether it be featuring new releases of motorcycle models, motorsports or just hanging with fellow riders, News Moto has got it covered.
In 2019, the idea of celebrating similar individuals, motovloggers, was floated and that idea has grown into the “News Moto Creator Awards.”
The NewsMoto Creator Awards is a platform that gives recognition to content creators that have excelled in the world of social media. Individuals who have shared their passion for motorcycles and riding them.
This year, the 4th running of NewsMoto Creator Awards shortlisted 70 motovloggers after screening an insane number motovloggers with the help of the judges, past awardees and fellow content creators. Those 70 individuals were invited to the awarding ceremony held at Four30 Gastropub in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The whole affair was hosted by Maki Aganon, Jules Rodriguez and Darwin Zialcita.
Benedict Maniquis, popularly known as ‘Motodeck’, who was a previous winner of the NewsMoto Creator Award expressed his happiness that motovlogging now has an awards giving body that recognizes individuals in this genre.
“Making quality content for every fellow rider and getting the information out makes it worth it. This event gives recognition to the hardwork we do as content creators. Nothing is impossible when you love the things you do.”
There were different categories like Best motovlogger of the year, YouTuber of the Year, Bike Reviewer of the Year, Best Cinematography, Action Photographer of the year and more.
Darwin Zialcita, mister News Moto himself, is quoted saying “our only purpose is to recognise content creators and their excellence in their work.
It’s easy to rate creators based on followers and subscribers, but beyond the numbers, we look at hard work, creativity and quality. Every year, we raise the bar and discover new artists who push the limits in creativity and motovlogging.Â
