At the country’s biggest unified automotive showcase — where TransSportShow, Sport Truck Show, and the Manila Auto Salon converge under one roof thanks to Tradeshow International — one build has been commanding attention as the familiarity of it has sparking conversations across the halls: Project Radical.
But behind the bold machines and the vision that drives them is a name that enthusiasts across the Philippines know well. Jeric Zshornack, famously recognized in the motoring community as Jec Episodes, has carved out a reputation as a storyteller, adventurer, and builder whose projects go beyond the show floor. For Jec, every build is more than a collection of parts — it’s a narrative of passion, resilience, and lifestyle.
What began last year as Project Looper, the 2021 Toyota Hilux Conquest 4×4 that Jeric Zshornack used to conquer the Philippine Loop with Overland Xploration Philippines, has now evolved into something bolder, tougher, and more refined. Reborn as Project Radical, the build is more than just a truck; it is a statement of passion, resilience, and lifestyle. For Jeric, it represents the culmination of lessons learned on the road, the grit of adventure, and the artistry of engineering.
The Hilux has been reimagined into nothing less than a Mobile Fortress, a true home on wheels built for journeys that stretch far beyond the horizon. Outfitted with an Alucab Modcap Rooftop Tent, a fully integrated kitchen cabinet, water tank, and a sweeping 270‑degree Awning, it blurs the line between rugged expedition vehicle and comfortable living space.

Yet this transformation is not only about convenience — it’s about capability. Beneath its bold exterior, the truck is engineered to conquer unforgiving terrain with Ironman Forged UCA and Foamcell Pro Suspension, a WP Pro Big Brake Kit, and a Revo 4.88 Gear Differential, each component chosen to deliver confidence where the road ends.

Rugged essentials reinforce its trail‑ready character: a ComeUp DV12s Winch for recovery, TJM Airtec Snorkel for deep water crossings, Rival 4×4 UVP Plates for underbody protection, and ARB Rocksliders to guard against the harshest obstacles. Visibility is never compromised thanks to PIAA LED Systems mounted across the roof, bumper, and cowl.
While the striking Vinyl Frog Reseda Green Wrap ensures the Hilux stands out with a personality as bold as its purpose. Method Beadlock 708 Wheels wrapped in Nitto Trail Grappler tires complete the aggressive yet purposeful stance, signaling readiness for any challenge.

Inside, Jeric infuses motorsport flair into the cabin. A REAL Japan carbon steering wheel and IO Tuning Throttle Controller bring precision and responsiveness to the driver’s hands, blending refinement with ruggedness in a way that reflects his philosophy: this Hilux is not just built to survive the adventure — it’s built to thrive in it.
Yet Jeric’s showcase this year extends far beyond the rugged presence of Project Radical. Sharing the spotlight is another head‑turner: the 2024 Toyota GR Yaris in Precious Black. If the Hilux embodies endurance and off‑road living, the GR Yaris represents the opposite side of Jeric’s vision — a compact powerhouse built for precision, speed, and motorsport pedigree.
At its core lies an AWD turbocharged 1.6‑liter three‑cylinder engine, small in displacement but ferocious in delivery. This heart is paired with Enkei RPF1 wheels and Nitto Invo tires, ensuring grip and control that match its aggressive intent. KW V3 coilovers sharpen the handling, while the full Toms kit — wing, side skirts, rear skirt, diffuser, front chin, and exhaust — sculpts the Yaris into a silhouette that looks as ready for the track as it does for the show floor.
Inside, the transformation continues. Greddy Bride Stradia 3 Limited Seats and Bride railings anchor the driver in place, while the rare MOMO Greddy Montecarlo Limited Steering Wheel, numbered 339 of only 400, adds exclusivity and heritage. Motorsport‑focused details such as the Greddy quick‑release hub, Frogdrive Carbon Steering Switch, and Greddy Shift Knob complete the cockpit, turning it into a sanctuary of speed and control. To preserve its flawless finish, the car is protected by PPF courtesy of 510 Auto, ensuring that every curve and detail remains as striking as the day it was unveiled.

Together, the Hilux and GR Yaris embody Jeric’s philosophy: builds should be ready not just for show, but for real-world adventure and authentic passion. Project Radical stands as a centerpiece of this year’s TransSport x Sport Truck x Manila Auto Salon, a symbol of collaboration and innovation brought together by Tradeshow International. With the GR Yaris Gryaris 2024 by its side, Jeric’s dual showcase speaks to enthusiasts, adventurers, and dreamers alike — a reminder that the road is not just about where you’re going, but how boldly you choose to get there.
