The challenge was no easy feat. Riders were tasked with navigating diverse terrains, extreme weather, and some of the most remote areas of the Philippines. Their goal was to complete the entire loop of the islands, starting from Mindanao and covering Luzon, the West part, the Eastern part, and the highest point of the Philippines.
“As an avid rider myself, I commend Team Wheeltek for taking on the Philippine Loop and promoting Motorcycle Tourism across our beautiful islands. Riding through the Philippines is not just a journey across roads, but a celebration of our culture, people, and breathtaking landscapes.

The Journey Begins: BIMC Mindanao – 1315KM in 1 Day
The journey began in the southernmost region, Mindanao, where the riders embarked on the first leg of the loop, the BIMC Mindanao ride, covering 1,315 kilometers in a single day. The riders faced a long and challenging day, as the heat of the sun and winding roads tested their endurance. But the camaraderie among the riders, their shared goal, and their top-of-the-line motorcycles made it possible to push through.
The Loop Continues: BIMC Luzon – 1349KM in 1 Day
The next day, they moved on to BIMC Luzon, another 1,349-kilometer journey that took the riders through some of the most scenic yet demanding roads of the Philippines. The landscapes were stunning, ranging from lush forests to coastal views, but the long distances and challenging climbs required them to remain focused and united. By the end of the day, the riders had successfully completed the Luzon portion of the loop.
Exploring the West Part of the Philippines – 1014KM in 5 Days
The next segment saw them covering the West Part of the Philippines. This was the longest leg of the journey, spanning 1,014 kilometers and taking a total of five days. The riders encountered a variety of terrains, from coastal highways to mountain paths in extreme weather. They navigated tight curves and long, isolated stretches, all the while bonding over shared challenges. At the end of each day, the group reflected on their accomplishments, growing stronger as they faced every obstacle.
The Highest Point of the Philippines – 592KM in 2 Days
One of the most memorable moments of the trip came when the riders tackled the Highest Point of the Philippines—a 592-kilometer journey that took two days to complete. The elevation changes were steep, and the cold air at the peak was a stark contrast to the warmth of the coastal roads. It was a test of both physical stamina and mental fortitude, but the riders pushed on, driven by the vision of completing the entire loop.
Eastern Part of the Philippines – 962KM in 2 Days
The final leg of the journey took them to the Eastern Part of the Philippines, where the riders faced yet another 962 kilometers over two days. This part of the loop was marked by heavy rainfall, and the roads were more treacherous than ever. Despite the extreme weather, the group’s resolve remained unshaken, with each rider proving their resilience.
The Grand Finish: A Total of 5,232 Kilometers in 11 Days
After 11 days of riding, the Philippine Loop was completed. A total of 5,232 kilometers had been covered, pushing each rider to their limits and proving the strength of the machines and the riders alike. The camaraderie, the challenges, and the triumphs culminated in a spectacular moment of achievement.
The Awards Ceremony
On May 1, 2025, the historic achievement was celebrated at the Honda Flagship Store in Buendia. The ceremony honored the riders for their bravery, perseverance, and passion for motorcycling. Among the riders, Jak Roberto and Dominic Roque stood out as the first celebrities to successfully complete the entire Philippine Loop.
Their participation in the event brought much-needed attention to the challenge, and their success was celebrated by fans and fellow riders alike.
The Legacy of the Philippine Loop
The Philippine Loop has now become a legendary journey in the world of motorcycling in the Philippines. It not only tested the limits of human endurance but also showcased the beauty, diversity, and challenges of the Philippine archipelago. The riders—along with their machines—proved that with determination and the right equipment, no journey is impossible.
The completion of the loop will inspire future generations of riders to take on the challenge, marking the beginning of an era where Filipino riders can truly claim the title of “Philippine Loopers.”
For now, the memory of the 2025 Philippine Loop will live on, forever etched in the hearts of those who completed it.
