Ford Philippines has once again been honored as the top corporate taxpayer in Muntinlupa City for 2024, a testament to the automotive giant’s unwavering commitment to corporate governance, ethical business practices, and community development.
Since first earning the title in 2014, Ford Philippines has consistently ranked among the city’s leading corporate taxpayers, ever since the company relocated its corporate headquarters to Alabang. This milestone reflects the company’s longstanding dedication to contributing positively to both the local economy and the community it serves.
In July 2023, Ford Philippines took a significant step in strengthening its commitment to its workforce by moving to a new office at One Griffinstone Building in Alabang. The modern facility is designed to foster a collaborative work environment that enhances productivity, innovation, and teamwork among employees.
“We are truly grateful to the Muntinlupa City local government for recognizing our efforts as a responsible corporate citizen,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines. “This recognition underscores the importance of good governance and corporate citizenship in driving sustainable business growth and social responsibility.”
Simoes received the award on behalf of Ford Philippines during the 30th anniversary celebration of Muntinlupa City’s cityhood on March 1, 2025. The award was presented by Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Congressman Jaime Fresnedi, former Mayor and Congressman Ignacio Bunye, City Administrator Engr. Allan Cachuela, and Business Permits and Licensing Office Chief Gary Llamas at The Filinvest Tent in Alabang.
This continued recognition highlights Ford Philippines’ steadfast role in supporting the economic and social progress of Muntinlupa City, solidifying its reputation as a key player in the region’s growth and development.
