Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), together with Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Tagum, has formally turned over 205 brand‑new trucks to the Philippine Army at Camp General Servillano A. Aquino. This milestone reinforces Isuzu’s commitment to supporting national institutions and helping strengthen the Army’s mobility and readiness.
The fleet includes 117 Isuzu NPS light‑duty trucks and 88 Isuzu FTS medium‑duty trucks, all fitted with troop carrier bodies designed for safe and reliable transport of soldiers, equipment, and essential cargo. These vehicles will play a vital role not only in military operations but also in disaster response and recovery missions across the country.
Built with Isuzu’s reputation for durability and backed by a nationwide service network, the trucks are engineered to perform in tough environments—from rugged provincial roads to mountainous terrain. The NPS models offer maneuverability and fuel efficiency, while the FTS trucks deliver power and stability for heavier loads and long‑haul operations.
During the ceremony, IPC Executive Vice President Yasuhiko Oyama emphasized Isuzu’s role in nation‑building: “Isuzu has long been a trusted partner of industries and institutions in the Philippines. Today, we are honored to support the Army in its mission to serve and protect the Filipino people.”
With this turnover, Isuzu continues to stand as a reliable partner in the government’s modernization efforts, providing transport solutions that ensure long‑term service, operational efficiency, and readiness for the men and women safeguarding the nation.
