A new naked crotch rocket is introduced to the Philippine market by CFMOTO Philippines. The 700CL-X Sport is the second variant of their CL-X model line. Though there are similarities to the Heritage variant of the 700CL-X, the Sport is more geared towards fun on the asphalt. This new variant has a café-racer aesthetic style gets a new interpretation with outstanding performance and sophisticated styling. The CL-X design language, featuring X design elements of the headlight, the rear tail light, round mirrors, exposed frame, engine cover, and slim fuel tank shape, easily attracting everyone’s attention.
The 700CL-X Sport comes equipped with a liquid-cooled 693cc, DOHC, four stroke parallel two-cylinder engine that puts out a healthy 75 horsepower and 68 Nm of torque. Fuel injection is by Bosch that is coupled with an electronic throttle to provide snappy throttle response that you will enjoy. The 700CL-X Sport also comes with two riding modes to cater to mood. Sport, that opens the taps to all the power that 693cc engine can give and a sharp throttle response. And then there is Eco thatprovide a softer throttle response and adjusts engine parameters to sip fuel efficiently. Cruise control is also on-hand for those long lazy stretches of asphalt. On the transmission side of things is a slipper clutch comes stardard, giving smoother shifts, specially on downshifts.
On other aspects of the 700CL-X Sport, suspension components are by KYB Suspension with adjustable 41mm USD fork tubes up front and a single rear shock to smoothen out the dips and bumps of the road. Suspension travel is a good 150mm both in the front and rear. Braking is provided by Brembo components with two radially mounted Brembo Stylema four-pot calipers clamping down on twin 300mm diameter rotors up front and the rear single-pot caliper clamps on a single 260mm rotor.
Wheels on the 700CL-X Sport are 17-inch star-shaped alloys that are wrapped in Maxxis MA-ST2 tires. Offering kilometers upon kilometers of stable riding with presice handling and wet weather traction.
Rounding out the features of the 700CL-X Sport are clip-on bars, a rollover sensor, and the trendy but bright LED lighting. The 700CL-X SPORT can be had in two eye-catching color schemes, Nebula White and the Velocity Grey. Both color scemes stylish and sophisticated.
