Italjet Gresini Gears Up for Key Back-to-Back Moto2 Races

As the Moto2 season heads into a pivotal stretch, the ITALJET GRESINI Moto2 Team is primed for a high-stakes back-to-back at two very different—but equally thrilling—circuits: the tight and technical Sachsenring, followed by the much-anticipated return to the historic Brno track. With the summer break looming, these two rounds present a final opportunity to build momentum—and the team is fired up to deliver.

Albert Arenas Eyes Podium Return

After a strong podium finish at Mugello and a consistent showing at Assen, Albert Arenas comes into this doubleheader full of confidence and focus. The Spanish rider is steadily climbing the ranks and is targeting another top result before the break.

ALBERT ARENAS #75:
“Another back-to-back challenge ahead. Sachsenring is a unique circuit and could work well for us. We’re coming in with speed and ambition—we’re getting closer to the front every weekend, and that’s giving us a huge boost. Brno is next, and I really like that track. It’s been a long time since we raced there, but it’ll be a fresh challenge for everyone. The goal is to stay focused in Germany, take it one step at a time, and fight for the podium in both rounds—that’s what we enjoy the most.”

Darryn Binder Set for a Comeback

For Darryn Binder, the Sachsenring–Brno combo represents a fresh opportunity to reset. After a few challenging weekends, the South African is eager to bounce back and get back in the mix—especially at two tracks he holds in high regard.

DARRYN BINDER #15:
“Sachsenring is such a cool track—short, tight, and packed with left-handers. It’s so different from the rest and definitely one of my favorites. I’m really looking forward to it. We’ve been in a tough spot recently, but I’m hopeful this round can be a turning point. Then it’s straight to Brno, which I haven’t raced at since 2020. It’s exciting to have it back—new surface, awesome layout, and I can’t wait to ride it for the first time on a Moto2 bike. It’s the last race before the break, so I’m pushing to end this half of the season on a high.”

With Arenas chasing another podium and Binder hungry for redemption, the ITALJET GRESINI squad enters this double-race weekend full of purpose. From the tight hairpins of Sachsenring to the sweeping elevation of Brno, the stage is set for a thrilling showdown before the summer pause.
