Access Plus Racing Kicks Off Quest for 5th Straight PSBK Championship with Two-Rider Powerhouse

Access Plus Racing is back and ready to dominate the 2025 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) like never before. After an outstanding 2024 season, the team is poised for another championship run, led by the unstoppable Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto, who returns to defend his title as the reigning 4-time Rider of the Year. And this time, he’s joined by his younger brother Troy Alberto, creating a formidable two-rider lineup that is sure to captivate fans and raise the bar for competition.

In 2024, TJ Alberto reigned supreme, clinching 9 victories out of 12 races, and now he’s gunning for a historic 5th consecutive title. Despite already solidifying his legacy at the top of the sport, TJ’s competitive fire still burns brightly. This season, he approaches racing with a refreshed mindset, eager to savor the thrill of the track while continuing to chase the podium.

Meanwhile, Troy — who is fully recovered from the injury he sustained last year — is more determined than ever. With a full season ahead, Troy is ready to step up, eyeing not just strong finishes but also a full-throttle challenge for top positions in both the Overall and Pro Classes. His experience and growth make him a key contender this year, and fans can expect him to bring a fierce drive to every race.

Both brothers will continue to race aboard the Ducati Panigale V4, an iconic machine renowned for its performance and engineering excellence. Backed by long-time partner Shell Advance, their Ducati Panigale V4s are equipped with Shell’s fully synthetic oils, designed to deliver exceptional performance and protection under the extreme pressures of racing. These oils are engineered to withstand temperatures of up to 175°C, keep the bike running at 355.9 km/h, and maintain peak efficiency at 17,000 rpm, ensuring the team has the edge on track.

The off-season has been nothing short of productive for Access Plus Racing, who’ve spent countless hours fine-tuning every aspect of their preparation. The 2025 PSBK calendar now spans 7 thrilling rounds, with the first race kicking off at Clark International Speedway on May 3-4, followed by more exciting races across the Philippines leading up to the finale in November.

With TJ and Troy Alberto leading the charge, Access Plus Racing is primed to make an emphatic statement in the 2025 season, all while chasing that elusive 5th straight championship.

TJ Alberto, #77:
“The 2025 season is something I’ve been looking forward to. With four titles under my belt, my confidence as a racer is solid. While I have nothing left to prove, the competitive side of me is as strong as ever, and I’m fully motivated to fight for that 5th championship. I’m also really excited to have my brother Troy alongside me again this year, racing together as a team.”

Troy Alberto, #69:
“I’m determined to make up for the mistakes I made last year and approach this season with a fresh mindset. My goal is simple — finish every race and let the results come naturally. I know I have the skills, the bike, and the team to compete at the highest level, but this year, I want to focus on improving consistently and let the championships follow.”

Toti Alberto, Team Principal:
“By God’s grace, we won the championship for the 4th time last year, and we are all praying for a 5th in 2025. With Troy fully recovered and both him and TJ at the front of the pack, we are optimistic about our chances this season. We look forward to seeing our Ducati Panigale V4s dominate on the track and, most importantly, for a safe and competitive season ahead.”
