ACMobility, the leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in the Philippines, has launched its most advanced EV charging stations yet in Makati City. The new chargers—rated at 240 kW and 480 kW—are now live at the Corinthians Carpark, developed in partnership with the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA) and Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI). A second location at the Leviste Carpark is also slated to open soon.
These next-generation SuperFast and UltraFast charging stations position Makati as a flagship city in ACMobility’s rapidly expanding nationwide EV charging network.
“Makati has always been at the forefront of sustainability in the country,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility.
“As both a commercial and residential hub, it’s the ideal location for our fastest chargers to date. We’re making EV charging faster, easier, and more accessible—right where people live, work, and commute.”
Engineering the Fastest EV Charging Experience in the Philippines
The Corinthians Carpark now features nine DC CCS2 charging bays, including four 240 kW SuperFast chargers (each with dual connectors) and one 480 kW UltraFast charger—the fastest public charger in the country. These high-powered units can charge compatible EVs in as little as 10 to 15 minutes, depending on vehicle battery size and conditions.
Equipped with 1000-amp air-cooled cables, the chargers are designed for high efficiency, rapid throughput, and future scalability. A dedicated pull-through bay accommodates larger EVs and minibuses, maximizing access and user convenience.
All stations are fully integrated with Evro, ACMobility’s all-in-one mobile app that allows users to find nearby stations, initiate charging, monitor sessions in real-time, and make secure, cashless payments. The app also delivers updates on new station launches, promotions, and system alerts—serving as an essential tool for every EV driver.
Charging is currently priced at ₱35/kWh, with membership options offering savings of up to 20%.
Bringing Charging to More Places with Power-on-Wheels
To extend coverage beyond fixed locations, ACMobility has also deployed Power-on-Wheels (POW)—a fleet of mobile DC fast chargers capable of serving underserved areas.
Initially available in Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, POW will soon expand to other key cities, including Muntinlupa, Pasay, Pasig, Manila, San Juan, and Quezon City.
Makati: ACMobility’s Most Electrified City Yet
With 70 active EV charging points across 16 locations, Makati leads ACMobility’s network and is projected to reach 100 charge points in 22 locations by the end of 2025. This expansion supports the company’s broader goal of installing over 700 charging points nationwide by year-end.
Every charging session at the Corinthians Carpark is powered by 100% renewable energy, supplied by ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES)—marking ACMobility’s first direct collaboration with ACEN RES. This partnership, under the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), ensures EV charging is backed by solar, wind, and geothermal energy—no onsite installation needed. It’s a key step toward the national target of 35% renewable energy in the mix by 2030.
Building the Philippine EV Spine
The Makati rollout is a cornerstone of ACMobility’s mission to build the Philippine EV Spine—a nationwide network of fast-charging stations that makes electric mobility viable at scale. As of May 2025, ACMobility operates over 90 charging locations, with more than 30 additional sites set to go live by June.
“Every new charging site—whether at a mall, condo, office, or roadside—strengthens the EV Spine,” said Buencamino. “We’re connecting communities and making clean, electric transport truly accessible for all Filipinos.”
